I just rediscover my love for Frankmusik, I remember first listening to him in 2008. His first album (Complete Me) was very catchy and pop. Then I lost interest in the album, Do It in the Am, I beleive he said so himself he was making music that wasn’t completely him. I can sense that, even with the collab with Far East Movement, which I wasn’t very keen on. The album was not bad, but it wasn’t the Frankmusik I fell in love with. Then today, I decide to look him up again. I download the Between & Between Us albums, they are so different what I expected (in an amazing, fantastic, musicasmic great way). He had grown as an artist. His song are still pop, but the lyrics are more… magical… his voice had more volume and the production is ethereal. I was in love again. Ephemeral Summer is a beautiful track and Dear Nicole was so relatable. If I were ever so lucky to work with someone in music, it would be with Frankmusik. He deserve much more success, I hope more people would listen to his music. I can’t wait to hear his new album.
Being 22. Makes me feel like I should have a kid by now. I just don’t feel older, I feel old too. Would Meryl Streep say that? All I want this is year is to find my courage back, to do something worthwhile that makes me feel brave again. I’m being vague, but when that time comes, you will know. Thanks for reading, I don’t care if you care.
Just saw all the music videos from BEYONCÉ. It’s a MASTERPIECE. More art than Gaga, more empowering than Katy and more personal than Britney. Also more videos than Lana, lol. This woman works. It is so fierce, and it gave me so many feels. She gave real AHS realness in Haunted’s video, Empowerment in Pretty Hurt & Superpower, Art in Mine, Sensuality in Rocket, Personal in Blue, Nostalgia in Grown Woman, I can go on & on. It had a lot of cameos too, from her mom to her sister, Kelly and Michelle, Jay, Pharrell, & I spotted two supermodel, Jourdan and Shaun. Also, glad she went more experimental but still includes a little commercial-ish songs like XO, which when I first hear, I knew it was exactly a Ryan Tedder track, lol. Heaven made me so emotional, what a cathartic song. By far my favorite album of hers. Damn what a sneaky bitch, she slays. I’m in <3 <3
